Dedicated Server

Admin your own galaxy with a GAR dedicated server. The server software is located in your Steam installation directory and is automatically updated. The path to the directory is usually similar to this:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\galactic arms race\server\

If you would like to run the server on a machine without Steam installed, you can download the latest GAR dedicated server kindly hosted by ModDb. No installer needed, simply unzip the folder wherever you wish and start running it. Additional info is available on the server help page or you can ask questions and report bugs in the forum.

Be sure to turn off your server during a Steam update!
